This initially unconventional and singular starting point resulted in a coquettish lounge chair that soon received compliments from the interior design community by applying it to many and different aesthetics, projects not only for domestic use but also offices and restaurants. A delicate and tiny upholstered furniture that joined two concepts as deeply rooted in the origin of the firm as the French-style lounge chairs and the wine barrels as inspiration (Yecla is a winemaking area with long tradition). Tonella was the first collaboration with the Swedish studio Note and an affective tribute to Sancal’s origins.
